Tree Removals - October 20, 2016


 This is to notify you that Public Works, Landscape Maintenance Districts will be removing 5 trees listed below.





Reason for Removal

Pine Tree

Corner of Franklin Lane and Doyle Court, Stevenson Ranch , CA

Tree is Dead

Three Pine Trees

Behind the park on the corner of Stevenson Ranch Parkway and Holmes Place, Stevenson Ranch, CA

One tree is Dead and Two trees are diseased and cannot be saved.

African Sumac Tree

25335 Dove Lane, Stevenson Ranch, CA

Tree is lifting up the sidewalk causing a falling hazard for residents.


Per our tree arborist the pine trees have been declared dead or disease to a point where the trees cannot longer be saved. The African Sumac tree is lifting the sidewalk producing a falling hazard for residents. The work will be performed by Parkwood Landscape Maintenance (current contractor on the zone).  The work will tentatively commence on Thursday, October 20, 2016 and is anticipated to be completed by Friday, October 21, 2016. The adjacent homeowners have been notified and “No Parking” signs will be posted a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
